We help you make travel a real part of your life.

Build the financial foundation, find the places worth going, get there for less, and get it planned.

One Hill of an Adventure

You've found the right place. Here's where to begin.

Most travel resources assume you're already ready to go. We don't. We start from the beginning, including the part where you figure out how to actually afford it. We're also honest about the full range of what that looks like, from budget trips to the ones that cost a lot more but were worth every dollar.

If you've ever looked at someone's travel photos and thought "that must be nice," like it's something that just happens to other people with more money or more time or some trick you haven't figured out yet, we're here to help.

We're Colby and Hayden Hill. We're not travel influencers, and we're not experts in any official sense. We're two people who've spent the last decade figuring out how to make travel a permanent part of our lives. 41 states, 11 countries, and a lot of memories in between, we want to share how we did it and what has actually worked for us.

The big picture

Our Approach

Most travel content focuses on where to go and what to do once you're there. We care about that too, but we start a step earlier.

We believe the biggest barrier to travel isn't logistics. It's the feeling that you can't afford it, or that the planning is too complicated, or that you'd need a different car, a different job, or a different life. We're here to dismantle that, one real example at a time.

We've built resources to help you do that, organized around the three things that actually get you somewhere.

Our Framework:

1

The Financial Layer

How to actually budget for travel, build a dedicated savings plan, think through debt honestly, and use credit card points to close the gap between what you want to do and what you can afford. This is where we start because it's where most people are stuck.

2

The Destination Guides

We've built guides to places we think are worth going, based on the actual planning documents we used for our own trips. Some cost us a few hundred dollars, others ran into the thousands. Real tradeoffs, where we'd cut corners and where we wouldn't, and spots that don't always make it to popular travel itineraries.

3

The Planning Support

If you want to go deeper, we offer 1:1 sessions to help figure out your budget, build points strategies, plan specific trips, or just talk through the logistics with someone who's actually done it.

Stay in the loop

Stay in the Loop

We send occasional emails when we have something actually worth sharing: a deal worth jumping on, a new guide, a tip that changed how we think about something. No filler, no weekly newsletters just to say we sent one.
